Virtual Reality (VR) has been the talk of the town in recent years. Now, VR is no longer a privilege for us humans only. There is now VR for cats!

The first VR for cats was developed by Isobar, Zoos Victoria and RSPCA, in hopes to allow cats to experience the joy of exploring outdoor, while staying indoor.

In Australia, pet cats killed more than 3.77 billion birds annually while 1 out of 5 of them lost their way home, which brought lights to safety problems concerning pet cats. Through VR, Isobar strives to cater a way for cats to immerse themselves in wandering around in fish markets, playing with gigantic yarn balls, chasing laser beams and so on, and thus, encourage them to stay home safely. On top of that, VR could also motivate sport-deprived cats to lose weight.

The eye masks could be adjusted according to the head sizes of the cats.
